New test could spare ovarian cancer patients major surgery
NCT ID NCT06963268
Summary
This study is testing a less invasive method to check if early-stage ovarian cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes. It compares a targeted 'sentinel node' technique against the standard, more extensive lymph node removal surgery. If successful, this new approach could mean fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery for patients.
