Summary
This study tested a less invasive spinal fusion surgery for people with painful, worn-out discs in their lower back. The procedure uses a smaller incision than traditional surgery, aiming to reduce pain and disability after the operation. Researchers followed 77 patients for two years to see how much their pain and ability to function improved.
