First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether getting the long-acting HIV prevention shot lenacapavir at a community pharmacy works well. About 75 HIV-negative adults will receive the shot every 6 months at the pharmacy. Researchers will track how many people stay on the prevention plan and whether fewer clinic visits changes rates of other sexually transmitted infections.
