Scientists test lego robots as brain gym for aging minds

NCT ID NCT05341232

Summary

This study tested whether a 12-week program of building and programming Lego robots could improve thinking skills and memory in adults aged 50 and older. Researchers enrolled 48 participants to see if this hands-on, puzzle-like training helps the brain work more flexibly. They measured changes using memory tests and brain scans before and after the program.
