Legal aid tested as key to better HIV health after incarceration

NCT ID NCT06171919

Summary

This study is testing if providing free legal help for problems like housing and employment can help people recently released from jail stay in HIV care and improve their health. It will train healthcare and legal teams to work together and enroll 100 people living with HIV who have been incarcerated. The main goal is to see if this combined support helps people get linked to care, stay on their HIV medication, and lower their virus levels.
