Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called pramipexole can help women with X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) who suffer from restless legs syndrome. The research aims to see if the drug reduces leg discomfort, improves sleep quality, and helps with walking ability. The trial involves 24 women with ALD and moderate to severe restless legs, comparing the drug's effects against a placebo over four months.
