Scientists scan swollen legs to crack the code of chronic edema
NCT ID NCT02914808
Summary
This study aims to understand why chronic leg swelling differs between patients. Researchers will use MRI scans and genetic tests on 48 people with swelling from two different causes. The goal is to see if differences in tissue and genes explain why compression therapy works better for some people than others.
