First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looked at whether raising the legs is a safe and practical way to help people who have had a moderate stroke. Fifty adults with stroke were asked to keep their legs elevated for a period of time. The main goal was to see if people could follow the leg-raising plan and if it caused any problems. This was a small, early study to gather information for a larger future trial.
