First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 26 people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) to see how arm exercise changes oxygen levels in their leg muscles. Researchers used a non-invasive sensor to measure oxygen saturation in the calf before, during, and after arm cycling. The goal was to understand why arm training can improve leg function without causing leg pain.
