New study tests better way to clear clogged leg arteries
NCT ID NCT07406308
Summary
This study aims to find out which procedure works better for people with long-term blockages in their leg arteries. Researchers will compare using a special drug-coated balloon alone versus using that balloon after first removing some of the artery-clogging plaque. The goal is to see which method keeps the artery open longer and reduces the need for repeat procedures.
