Summary

This study compares a newer pacing method called left bundle branch pacing (LBBP) with standard right ventricular pacing in 1,300 people who need a pacemaker for heart block. Standard pacing can sometimes weaken the heart over time, leading to heart failure. LBBP tries to mimic the heart's natural electrical system to avoid that. The trial will track heart failure events, heart function, and survival over several years.
