NCT ID NCT07372196

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a new pacing method (left bundle branch pacing) combined with a defibrillator in 30 people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy who have already had heart surgery (myectomy). The goal is to see if this approach can prevent heart failure from getting worse, reduce dangerous heart rhythms, and improve heart function. Participants are randomly assigned to get either the new pacing method or a standard defibrillator, and their progress is tracked for 12 months.
