New test could sharpen diagnosis for common blood cancer
NCT ID NCT07313982
Summary
This study aims to see if measuring a protein called LEF-1 in tissue samples can help doctors more accurately diagnose and understand chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). Researchers will analyze samples from 350 patients who already have these conditions to see if LEF-1 levels are linked to specific disease features or outcomes. The goal is to find better ways to tell these cancers apart from similar ones and potentially guide future treatment choices.
