Can a Light-Up mask turn back the clock on Sun-Damaged skin?

NCT ID NCT07661004

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using an LED mask, alone or with a special serum, can reduce signs of facial aging like wrinkles and dullness. About 130 women aged 35 to 60 with mild to moderate sun damage will use the mask five times a week for three months. Researchers will measure changes in skin appearance through expert ratings, photos, and participant feedback.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

LED mask and cosmetic serum

What this could lead to

If effective, this could offer a non-invasive, at-home option to reduce wrinkles and improve skin radiance without drugs or procedures.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage cosmetic study without a placebo control, so results may be modest or not generalizable. The mask requires consistent daily use for months.
