Shining a light on braces pain: can a simple LED device make treatment more comfortable?
NCT ID NCT07276984
Summary
This study tested whether a special LED light device could help people wearing braces. Researchers wanted to see if using the light daily could reduce the common pain from braces and lower the risk of damage to tooth roots. Sixteen participants, aged 11 to 30, were randomly given either the real LED device or a fake one to use at home for 10 minutes a day over several months.
