Scientists search for chemical clues to learning disabilities
NCT ID NCT07240142
Summary
This study aimed to understand if children with Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) have different levels of certain brain chemicals compared to children without learning difficulties. Researchers measured chemicals in the blood and gave thinking tests to 40 children (20 with SLD, 20 without). The goal was to see if these chemical measurements could help identify or understand learning disorders better.
