Can a training program make hospitals safer for nurses?
NCT ID NCT06989294
Summary
This study tested whether a special leadership training program for head nurses could improve workplace safety for the nurses they supervise. Researchers trained head nurses at a children's hospital in 'lean' management techniques, which aim to reduce waste and errors. They then measured if this training led to a safer work environment as perceived by the staff nurses.
