New device tested to treat hardened heart valve

NCT ID NCT04636073

Summary

This early study aimed to test the safety and performance of a new device called the Leaflex Performer. It was designed for patients with severe, symptomatic aortic valve stenosis who were not yet recommended for a full valve replacement. The goal was to see if the device could improve the valve opening and patient symptoms over a year of follow-up.
