New stitch vs. old pressure: race to stop pacemaker bleeding
NCT ID NCT06837870
Summary
This study compares two different ways to close the small hole in the vein after doctors implant a leadless pacemaker. Researchers want to see if using a special stitch through the skin works better than the standard method of manual pressure plus a surface stitch. They will measure which method stops bleeding faster, leads to fewer complications, and gets patients ready to go home sooner.
