Wireless pacemaker shows promise in large international trial

Summary
This study tested a new type of pacemaker that does not use wires (leads) to help people with a slow heart rhythm called bradycardia. Over 1,200 participants received the Aveir LP device to see if it was safe and worked well. The study found that most people had no serious complications and the pacemaker kept the heart beating at a safe rate.
