This study tested whether a daily tablet containing a special probiotic (LC-Plasma) can boost the immune system and reduce symptoms of upper respiratory infections like the common cold in healthy adults. 241 participants took either the probiotic or a placebo for 4 weeks. Researchers measured immune cell activity and tracked any cold symptoms.
