Daily probiotic pill tested to fight colds and flu
NCT ID NCT06837961
Summary
This study tested whether a daily tablet containing a specific probiotic bacteria (LC-Plasma) could help prevent common colds and flu. Over 240 healthy adults in Australia took either the probiotic or a placebo pill daily for four weeks. Researchers measured immune system activity and tracked participants' symptoms to see if the probiotic made a difference.
