First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment called LBP-EC01, made from viruses that attack bacteria, for urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by drug-resistant E. coli. About 318 adults with a history of UTIs will receive either LBP-EC01 plus an antibiotic or a placebo plus an antibiotic. The goal is to see if the virus cocktail helps clear the infection better than the antibiotic alone.
