New hope for bipolar depression? experimental drug enters Mid-Stage testing

Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational oral medication called LB-102 can help reduce depressive symptoms in adults with Bipolar I Disorder. About 320 participants will be randomly assigned to take either LB-102 or a placebo pill daily for six weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression severity and monitor for side effects, including any signs of manic symptoms.
