Lavender scent may lower blood pressure and anxiety, new study hopes

Summary

This study tests whether inhaling lavender oil three times a week for a month can reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and lower blood pressure in people with primary hypertension. Fifty adults from a cardiology clinic will be randomly assigned to either receive lavender inhalations or continue their usual care. Researchers will measure changes using questionnaires and blood pressure readings.
