Summary

This study is testing if smelling lavender during certain awake ear, nose, and throat procedures helps reduce patient anxiety and pain. Researchers will compare lavender scent to an odorless placebo in about 184 adults. Participants will answer short surveys about their comfort and anxiety levels before and after their procedure.
