Laughter as medicine: fun yoga trial aims to cut Kids' cancer pain

NCT ID NCT07327138

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, home-based program of laughter and fun yoga can help reduce pain in children receiving chemotherapy for leukemia. Researchers will compare 60 children who do the laughter yoga activities plus their usual care with children who receive usual care alone. The goal is to see if this playful, non-drug approach can lower pain levels and improve mood during a difficult part of treatment.
