First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether a home-based program of laughter and fun yoga can lower pain in children aged 2-10 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who are receiving chemotherapy. Sixty children will be randomly assigned to either the laughter and yoga program plus usual care, or usual care alone. Pain levels, use of strong pain medicines, mood, anxiety, and sleep will be measured over a 6-day period after chemotherapy. The activities are gentle, safe, and done at home with a parent's help.
