New radiation pattern aims to zap tumor pain while sparing healthy tissue
NCT ID NCT07444775
Summary
This study is testing whether a new radiation technique called lattice therapy reduces pain better than standard radiation for people with large tumors. It will enroll 148 adults with solid tumors measuring 5cm or larger who need pain relief. Researchers will compare if more patients report less pain one month after receiving the new lattice pattern versus conventional radiation.
