Race against time extended: new hope for Late-Stage stroke patients
NCT ID NCT05326932
Summary
This study is testing whether a procedure to remove a major blood clot from the brain can still help people who have had a stroke more than 24 hours ago. It will compare the procedure plus standard medical care against standard care alone in 382 carefully selected patients. The goal is to see if this later treatment can safely reduce long-term disability and improve recovery.
