Summary
This study aims to understand why older adults with depression often experience memory and thinking problems. Researchers will follow 120 participants with depression over 30 months, using brain scans, blood tests, and memory assessments. The goal is to learn how depression might be linked to brain changes and cognitive decline, but this is an observational study and does not test any treatments.
