Stanford pits two High-Tech LASIK methods Head-to-Head

NCT ID NCT07078799

Summary

This study aims to find out if one of two FDA-approved LASIK techniques works better for correcting nearsightedness and astigmatism. Up to 70 participants will have one eye treated with a standard 'wavefront-guided' method and the other eye with a newer 'ray tracing-guided' method. Researchers will then compare the vision results in each eye over a year to see if one approach leads to clearer sight.
