Summary
This study tests a new excimer laser used in LASIK surgery to correct mild nearsightedness (up to -1.00 diopter) with or without astigmatism. About 32 adults aged 22 and older will receive the treatment in one or both eyes. The goal is to see if the laser safely and effectively improves vision so glasses or contacts are no longer needed.
