NCT ID NCT07287046

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study compares two non-invasive treatments—high-intensity laser therapy and focused shock wave therapy—for reducing pain in people with plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. About 28 adults aged 18-70 with moderate to severe pain will receive one of the treatments plus an exercise program. Researchers will track pain and foot function over 12 weeks to see which approach works better.
