First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity laser therapy or exercise is better at reducing pain and improving hand function in people with thumb osteoarthritis. About 42 adults with thumb joint arthritis and at least moderate pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to find a non-surgical way to ease symptoms and help people do daily activities more comfortably.
