Laser blasts heart stent reblocking in new trial
NCT ID NCT07382154
Summary
This study aims to find a better way to treat reblocked heart stents, a common problem where a previously placed stent narrows again. It will compare a laser-based procedure (ELCA) against standard balloon treatments in 1,260 patients to see which one is more effective at preventing the treated blood vessel from failing again within a year.
