Imaging-Guided laser zaps skin cancer, aims to avoid surgery
NCT ID NCT04744935
Summary
This study is testing a laser treatment for basal cell carcinoma, a common type of skin cancer. Doctors use a special imaging tool called OCT to see the cancer's exact size and depth, then guide the laser to target it precisely. The goal is to effectively remove the cancer while minimizing side effects and avoiding the need for traditional surgery.
