Laser zaps painful skin condition, aims for faster healing
NCT ID NCT07260643
Summary
This study is testing a minimally invasive laser procedure called SiLaC for treating pilonidal sinus, a painful skin condition near the tailbone. It will follow 40 adults at a hospital in Madrid to see how quickly they recover, how much pain they have, and if the condition comes back. The main goal is to see if this laser method helps patients return to normal activities faster than traditional surgery.
