First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether shining low-level laser light on the gums can speed up the movement of canine teeth during orthodontic treatment. Forty people received laser therapy on one side of their mouth while the other side served as a comparison. The goal was to see if the laser could safely shorten the time needed for braces.
