Scientists zap nerves with lasers to uncover hidden effects
NCT ID NCT07260994
Summary
This study aims to understand how different types of laser therapy might temporarily affect nerve function in healthy people. Researchers will recruit 58 healthy adults aged 18-30 and randomly assign them to receive either high-power laser, low-power laser, or a fake (sham) laser treatment on their neck. Participants will have their nerve function measured before and after nine brief sessions to see if the lasers cause any changes.
