First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special laser treatment, given through a vein, can help people with long-term sciatica sleep better and feel less pain. Sixty-six adults with chronic sciatica and poor sleep took part. Half got the laser treatment plus standard acupuncture, while the other half got only acupuncture. The goal was to see if the laser could be a safe, drug-free way to improve both sleep and pain.
