Could a laser in your vein ease back pain and help you sleep?

NCT ID NCT06755593

Summary

This study tested if a special laser light therapy, delivered into a vein, could help people with long-term sciatica. The goal was to see if it could reduce their pain and improve their sleep better than standard treatment alone. 66 participants received either the laser therapy plus standard care or just standard care for 10 days. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, sleep quality, and daily function.
