First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding low-level laser therapy to a home exercise program can reduce pain and improve knee function in people over 50 with knee osteoarthritis. It also checks if the laser helps thicken thigh muscle and knee cartilage. About 62 participants will be randomly assigned to exercise alone or exercise plus laser, and results will be measured at 1 and 3 months.
