NCT ID NCT07532694
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a diode laser to standard deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) improves gum health in people who have had a kidney transplant and also have gum disease. About 80 adults will be split into two groups: one gets standard cleaning plus laser, the other gets standard cleaning alone. Researchers will measure changes in gum attachment, pocket depth, bleeding, and other signs of gum health over time.
