Tracking the return of painful cysts after laser surgery
NCT ID NCT07314632
Summary
This study follows 240 adults who get laser surgery for pilonidal cysts (painful infections near the tailbone) as part of their normal care. Researchers want to see how often the cysts return within two years after the laser procedure. Patients will answer surveys at one and two years to report if the problem has come back.
