New laser treatment hopes to regrow hair in scarring alopecia

Summary

This study is testing whether a special non-ablative laser can help treat scarring alopecia, a condition that causes permanent hair loss. Five adults will receive three laser treatments and attend follow-up visits over 15 months. Researchers will also study hair follicle genes to understand how the laser works.
