New laser shows promise for hair loss – small study underway

Summary
This study is testing whether a special laser (1470nm) can safely help people with two types of hair loss: male/female pattern baldness and scarring alopecia. Ten adults with stable hair loss will receive the laser treatment and be monitored for changes in hair count and density. The goal is to see if the laser can improve hair growth without major side effects.
