Laser zaps facial bumps in rare hair loss condition

NCT ID NCT07340671

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific laser treatment can safely reduce the size and number of facial papules (small bumps) in people with frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA), a condition that causes hair loss and skin changes. Researchers will enroll 10 adults with FFA and treat their facial papules with the laser. They will measure changes in the bumps using photos, scans, and patient feedback to see if the treatment helps.
