Doctors check if standard laser eye treatment has hidden side effect

NCT ID NCT07157553

Summary

This study aims to understand if a standard laser treatment for a severe form of diabetic eye disease affects the health of cells on the clear front part of the eye (the cornea). Researchers will measure these cells in 45 patients before the laser treatment, and again one week and one month after. The goal is to gather safety information, not to test a new treatment.
