First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests if using a special laser to clean the tooth after a second root canal can lower pain and inflammation. About 52 adults with a failed first root canal and an infection at the tooth tip will be treated. The laser is used along with standard cleaning to see if it helps reduce pain and signs of inflammation better than cleaning alone.
